Volunteering with us

Small and simple moments can be easily given and incredibly impactful to us and the people we support. Our volunteers mean so much to us and we’re always delighted when another Volunteer joins us.

Opportunities

Much of our volunteering takes place in the community, with our Reach Out befriending and Mentoring support volunteers and in our specialist autism groups.

Volunteering also makes a significant contribution through essential support roles of our office functions and our direct work, for example minibus drivers to enable our groups to go on outings, family liaison volunteers and communications support.

“I have found new motivation through my [RfA Volunteer]. It was great to be heard. Feeling listened to, made me feel able and motivated.”
